Inspirations: Archilochus, Anacreon, Jacopone da Todi.
Favorite films: Fat City by John Huston, The Addiction by Abel Ferrara.
Last book read: The Gospel of Marcion.
Childhood dreams: Forgotten.
First famous person you met or encountered: The actor Franco Nero.
Greatest moment of your career: Kevin Spacey’s reading of my poem The Boxer at the National Roman Museum (2019).
Most painful moment of your career: A poet doesn’t have a “career.” To write, they need nothing, yet every moment is painful. It’s “enough” to sit down and bleed, day after day.
Favorite ice cream flavor: Fruit flavors. But I haven’t eaten ice cream in over ten years.
Favorite artists: Masaccio, Caravaggio, Pontormo.
Funny career memory: Since I don’t have a career, I wouldn’t know.
Embarrassing career memory: Same as above.
Hobbies/interests: Boxing. But I wouldn’t call it a hobby.
People qualities most admired: Generosity.
