 “My dad worked for a farm implement dealer. In the summer we used to set up machinery.”

 “I remember watching film my mom (Eleanor) took of me when I was a year old. My dad had me on skates on the backyard rink.”

 “Chicago Blackhawks. I had a Blackhawk jersey growing up. I liked Stan Mikita.”

 “Old Chicago Stadium, Madison Square Garden, Boston Garden, The Spectrum.”

“In 1987 when J.J. Daigneault scored to put the Flyers up 3-2 and send the series back to Edmonton for Game 7 of the Stanley Cup final.”

 “In 1990 when we won the Stanley Cup with the Edmonton Oilers.”

 “Broken hands, broken ribs.”

: “Gilbert Dionne – he did a great Serge Savard imitation. Jamie Baker – he is nuts.”

Strangest Game:
 “I was playing with the Flyers in the late 1980s against Los Angeles when there was a wind storm that blew out some windows at The Spectrum. They canceled the rest of the game and we played it again later.”



Favorite Players To Watch:
 “Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, Henrik Zetterberg, Pavel Datsyuk and a lot of the top skill players. Those guys do things other players are unable to do.”



First Famous Player You Ever Met/Encountered:
 “I grew up in Saskatoon – the pro teams didn’t play there. The first NHL game I ever saw was the first year I went to training camp in 1982.”



Favorite Non-Hockey Sport To Watch:
 “Football. I like the physical play.”



Favorite Non-Hockey Sport To Play:
 “Baseball. I enjoyed playing as a kid.”



Most Memorable Goal
: “I didn’t really have a most memorable goal. But in the 1980s, with the Flyers, I scored six goals in six games.”
