Status: NFL Running Back from 1999-2011 for New Orleans Saints, Miami Dolphins, Baltimore Ravens. Was the 2003 Pro Bowl MVP with two touchdowns and a forced fumble on special teams. First-team All Pro 2002. Heisman Trophy winner 1998 for Texas. Rushed for over 10,000 yards in his career.

Childhood Sports Hero: “Tony Gwynn. And I loved the Chargers growing up.”
Hobbies/Interests: “Photography. Video games – Madden Football. Writing. Just hangin’ out. Soccer. Travel.”
Favorite Movies: “Casablanca, The Princess Bride, House Party.”
Musical Tastes: “Everything, Bob Marley, Lauryn Hill.”


Funny Football Memory: “My first game ever, I was in 7th grade. First time ever playing. My fifth carry…I took the ball, ran up the middle for 72 yards and a touchdown. I was so happy about it. Then I looked and there was a flag and the play was called back. And I never scored again the whole year [laughs].”
First Job: “I worked drive-thru at Jack In The Box in San Diego (age 15).”
First Car: “Charcoal Jeep Cherokee.”
Early Football Memory: “Beating Nebraska (with Texas) in 1998. They had a 37-game home winning streak. Seeing all the red Nebraska fans in the stadium, and then coming out with the victory. That was a nice memory.”
Pre-Game Feeling: “We go to war every Sunday. I’ve come to a realization about football: Football players are literally like modern day gladiators.”
Greatest Sports Moment: “It hasn’t happened yet.”
Most Painful Moment: “We were playing UCLA in 1997. We lost 66-3. I came out at halftime. Coach said it was out of hand. To sit there and see your team get slaughtered like that on national television was pretty bad.”
Favorite Meal: “I don’t really have just one. For dessert I like cheesecake.”
Favorite Breakfast Cereal: “Cinnamon Toast Crunch.”
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: “Chocolate chip cookie dough.”
Favorite Athletes To Watch: “Barry Bonds. Tony Gwynn. Roy Jones Jr. Venus and Serena Williams. Terrell Davis. Mark O’Meara. Tiger.”
Family: Daughter, Marley; son, Prince; Wife, Linnea Miron.
People Most Admired: “Just people who are successful. There’s not really one kind of success that I especially admire. I like people who are creative and do what they need to do to accomplish what they hope to.”
