First Golf Memory: “I think it was at IMG. I first took lessons when I was six from Tracy Reiser. Pitching around the green with her. That’s probably my first memory that’s coming up right now.”
Golf Inspirations: “Like who? Like people? Tiger Woods. I re-watch his Masters clips over and over. It;’s not even funny [smiles].”
Last Book Read: “It was some type of book that my mom made me read. Some athlete’s book. I don’t know what it was called.”
Current Car: “Jetta GLI white. Black interior with white thread. Cool rims too [laughs].”
First Famous Golfer You Met Or Encountered: “Probably Jack Nicklaus. I played nine holes with him at Bear’s Club.”
Greatest Career Moment (so far): “Winning Women’s Australian Open (2019). And qualifying for the LPGA.”
Most Painful Moment: “Missing the US Open qualifier by one shot. Making bogey on the last hole (2015).”
Favorite Tournament: “Not really. I like them all. I really like the women’s US Open actually.”
Funniest Golfers Encountered: “I think it’s my sister and I are pretty funny [laughs].”
Embarrassing Career Memory: “Not one that I can think of.”
Favorite Sport Outside of Golf: “Tennis.”
Three Athletes You Like To Watch & Follow: “I love Roger Federer. Nadal. Jordan Spieth. Tiger. And Ricky Fowler… I ‘ve always looked up to great athletes like Nadal and Roger Federer. The blend of the two I hope I have. The grace that Federer has. The fight Nadal has. I hope that’s something I carry on to the golf course.”
Why Do You Love Golf: “I don’t know…when I was little I hit that one shot…fell in love with the sport.”
Favorite Ice Cream Flavor: “Not really a huge ice cream fan.”
Funny Golf Memory: “I laugh every day on the golf course, every single time with my sister. So one doesn’t stand out.”
Favorite Course: “I think my first US Open. Sebonack Southampton, 2013.”
People Qualities Most Admired: “I like to see a really strong personality. People that can laugh a lot. So I really like that.”
